Chris Vandermeer is the owner and highly accomplished Master Electrician of Dutchman Electric Inc. Chris has been an Electrician for 30 years, starting his career at 17 years old. Over that time, he has gained 3 Electrical Licences! He started his career with Magna, getting his 442A license, installing assembly lines, programming, robotics and 3-phase power installs. He was then hired by Johnson Controls Automotive sector to install and maintain assembly lines as a maintenance Electrician and also acquired his 309A license.

 

His next chapter, he headed into the nuclear industry and spent 15 years working for GE and Ontario Power Generation. Chris transitioned to building custom homes and apartment buildings in 2016. He started utilizing his Master's license to start wiring all the projects he built, and this is what produced Dutchman Electric Inc!
